Robbers injure trader, loot Rs500,000 in Mailsi

MAILSI (Dunya News) - Robbers shot at and wounded a trader and deprived him of Rs500,000 in Mailsi on Thursday.
Two robbers approached the victim in Model Town and tried to snatch cash and valuables at gunpoint. The suspects fired at the victim who offered resistance and fled after snatching cash.
After being alerted a Rescue 1122 ambulance rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to the tehsil headquarters hospital.
Local traders have urged the Multan regional police officer and the Vehari district police chief to take notice of robbery incidents as business community is vulnerable to crimes against property.
