Two 'robbers' killed in exchange of fire with Okara police

OKARA (Dunya News) – Two alleged robbers were killed in an exchange of fire with police in Okara on Thursday.
Police said they were informed that some robbers were depriving citizens of their valuables after erecting barricades on a road.
After being informed, a police team rushed to the scene to rescue the citizens and arrest the culprits. On seeing the police party heading towards them, the looters started firing indiscriminately.
Police responded effectively and killed two dacoits, but their three accomplices managed to flee.
Police are conducting raids to arrest the fleeing suspects.
