ANF seizes 1,565kg drugs during operations in Quetta and Khyber

KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) recovered 1,565kg drugs and arrested two suspects during operations carried out in Quetta and Khyber.
According to the ANF officials, 1,550kg hashish concealed in a container of cotton bags was recovered from Yaro area in Quetta.
The drug traffickers were trying to smuggle the drugs from Afghanistan to Karachi via Chaman. Two suspects hailing from Chaman were also arrested during the operation.
In another operation conducted in Jarobi area in Khyber, 15kg hashish was recovered.
Cases have been registered under the Anti-Narcotics Act against the accused while further investigation is also underway.
