Bid to smuggle narcotics to Punjab foiled

PESHAWAR (Web Desk) - The Excise Police has foiled an attempt to smuggle huge quantity of narctoics from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) to Punjab in a successful operation carried out in Mardan.
According to a spokesman, the Excise police conducted a raid on Charsadda Peshawar GT Road after receiving solid information. Officials intercepted a vehicle near Khyalid bridge on the GT Road.
Nearly 4,800 grams hashish was recovered during the search and a suspect was arrested. A case has been registered.
