Robber killed in crossfire with Lahore police

LAHORE (Dunya News) - A robbery suspect was killed in a crossfire with the Nawab Town police on Abdul Sattar Edhi Road on early on Thursday.
Police said some robbers were escaping after a robbery when they came across a police team patrolling the area. An exchange of gunfire left one of the suspect fatally wounded.
The suspect, who later died of bullet wounds, was identified as Shabbir alias Shabbira who was according to police record was involved in more than 50 cases of murder, robbery and dacoity.
The body was shifted for autopsy.
