The police arrested another injured suspect during a separate encounter

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Two suspects were arrested in a joint operation by the Rangers and the police in the provincial capital's area of Orangi Town on Tuesday.

The arrested suspects were wanted in more than 14 cases of robbery and other street crimes.

According to a Rangers spokesperson, the arrested suspects have been identified as Abdul Rahman and Abid, and weapons were also recovered from their possession during the operation.

The spokesperson further stated that during interrogation, the suspects confessed to looting more than 40 mobile phones and over Rs50,000. The arrested suspects have been handed over to the police for further legal action, while raids are being conducted to apprehend their accomplices.

On other hand, the police have arrested an injured suspect after an encounter in Karachi. The police have claimed to recover weapon and two mobile phones from his possession. The injured suspect has been shifted to a hospital for medical aid.
