Three gangsters shot dead by police in katcha operation

RAHIM YAR KHAN (Dunya News) - Police on Friday claimed to have killed three robbers in the ongoing operation in katcha area of Rahim Yar Khan.
According to a spokesperson for the Punjab police, in the ongoing operation that has entered 20th day, police have moved into the Katcha Rajwani area and besieged it. Intermittent firing took place between the police and the robbers.
District Police Officer (DPO) Rizwan Umar Gondal said the operation would continue with full force until the area would be completely cleared or all the gangsters apprehended. He said three robbers had been killed during the operation and 28 had been arrested and a huge cache of weapons and ammunition was also seized.
He further said police camps had been established after destroying the hideouts of gangsters.
