GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – Two policemen including an ASI was injured in an alleged encounter on the petrol pump being robbed in Gujranwala in early hours of Thursday.
According to sources, the suspects were looting a petrol pump when the police arrived at the scene after receiving information. The suspects upon seeing the police approaching towards them opened fire on police.
Assistant sub-inspector Gulraiz Khan along with his another team member got injured by the firing. Both the injured policemen were shifted to the hospital for medical aid.
The police have formulated search parties and set up blockades in the whole district to capture the fleeing suspects.
