Mayo hospital doctor found murdered at his in-laws' house
LAHORE (Dunya News) – An MBBS doctor was found murdered at home in the Defence Housing Authority in the provincial capital on Thursday evening.
Police were alerted by a close relative of Dr Masood Jillani who was found dead at his in-laws’ house with multiple stabbing wounds. Police lifted necessary forensic evidence from the crime scene and shifted the dead body for postmortem examination.
Cantonment Division SP Dr Raza Tanvir said the victim worked as physician at the Mayo Hospital. He said the investigators were probing the murder from all aspects. Later, police took the victim’s wife Fatima, brother-in-law and another relative after registering a murder case on the complaint of his brother.
