Mirpur: Groom killed on wedding day for free-will marriage
MIRPUR (Dunya News) - A groom was shot dead on his wedding day for free-will marriage in Mangla’s Badshahpur area on the outskirts of Azad Kashmir.
As per details, Abu Bakar Khan was gunned down by Kabul khan for free-will marriage with his sister.
Arsalan, a friend of the groom, was also seriously injured in the firing. The dead body of the deceased Abu Bakar and injured person were shifted to DHQ Hospital, Mirpur.
SHO of Mangla police station Chaudhry Wasim Nawaz, reached the spot with a heavy contingent of police and started investigation.
