Two killed, three injured during police custody in firing by opponents'

So far, eight people have been killed between clashes of both groups.

HAFIZABAD (Dunya News) – Two shot dead and three severely injured who were going for case hearing in Hafizabad sessions court during police custody on Saturday.

According to the reports, five accused were brought hand-cuffed to the sessions court from the jail for hearing when opponent group opened fire. Due to firing, two were killed on the spot and three were severely injured.

It was also reported that this incident happened due to long-running feud between the Jutt group and the Rajput alias Shahid Gonga group, residents of Wani area near Hafizabad.

Both the rivalry group came for court hearing before sessions judge Nadeem Anjum Mian today where the incident occurred. During the appearance inside the court, the armed men from Jutt group opened fire on five people form Gonga group who were hand-cuffed and in the police custody.

Two, who were identified as Waseem and Nadeem of Shahid Gonga group died on the spot while the severely injured were shifted to trauma center with the help of 1122.

Meanwhile, the medical staff referred the victims to Lahore due to critical condition of the victims
