Karachi man arrested for trying to rape eight-year-old girl in Korangi
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A man was caught red-handed while trying to molest an eight-year-old girl in Karachi’s Korangi area on Monday.
According to Korangi SSP Shah Jahan, a man tried to sexually abuse a minor girl near graveyard and was caught red-handed by local people present in area.
An innocent eight-year-old girl named Samina was on her way to home. The accused took the girl with him to the PAF graveyard and tried to rape in empty room near cemetery.
The people approached the police emergency number-15- to report the incident, besides also catching the suspect from the spot.
Soon after receiving information about the incident, the police reached the place and apprehended the suspect and shifted him to a police station for further interrogation.
The SSP investigation also maintained that the case has been registered against suspect Abdullah and started the investigation.
It is pertinent to mention here that incidents of sexual abuse have been reported from the city and in a recent incident, a minor girl was allegedly raped after abduction in Karachi’s Korangi.
