DG Khan: Border Military Police foil inter-provincial smuggling attempt
DERA GHAZI KHAN (Dunya News) - A major operation Led by Commandant Hamza Salik, SHO Liaqat Abbas Leghari of Border Military Police foiled an inter-provincial smuggling attempt in Rakhi Gaj tribal area of DG Khan.
BMP seized three vehicles loaded with non-customs paid goods coming to Punjab from Balochistan. SHO Rakhi Gaj Police Station Liaqat Abbas Leghari said that Border Military Police have seized non-customs paid goods worth Rs 50 million from a passenger coach and two trucks, which include Cigarettes, foreign salt, Betel Nuts etc.
Attempts were being made to smuggle non-customs paid goods from Balochistan to Punjab. Non-customs paid goods will be handed over to the customs authorities.
