Kashmore: FBR seizes smuggled goods worth Rs 76.6 million

KASHMORE (Dunya News) - Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Sukkur has seized goods worth Rs 76.6 million from three trawlers during checking in Kashmore.

According to Director Customs I & I, FBR Sadiqullah Khan, a joint operation was carried out with Rangers on the report of smuggling from Quetta.

During special checking at Kashmore, smuggled goods worth Rs 76.6 million were recovered from three trawlers.

He said that smuggled cloth worth Rs 40 million, tires worth Rs 17 million and unhealthy milk worth Rs 3 million were recovered from the containers. Trawlers, containers and smuggled goods used in smuggling have been seized and a case has been registered under the Customs Act.
