Peshawar: Police arrest four suspects for kidnapping, torturing transgender
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Police arrested four suspects who were involved in kidnapping and torturing a transgender in Peshawar.
According to the details, accused Younis, Abdullah, Anas and Hayatullah had abducted a transgender women Saddam alias Sweety at gunpoint last night while returning from a musical program.
The accused had tortured Saddam and recorded the video of the assault, they also cut her hairs.
According to police, the accused also snatched Rs 90,000 from transgender. Capital City Police Peshawar arrested the four accused in an operation today who belong to different areas of the city.
According to police, the accused have identified other accomplices involved in the heinous act. A special team headed by DSP Sadar Circle Qazi Ismatullah has been formed to arrest the remaining accused.
