CTD arrests terrorist of banned outfit in Karachi
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested a terrorist of banned outfit involved in attack on Rangers vehicles and recovered weapons from his possession.
According to CTD, it was reported that a terrorist of the banned outfit was present near Safora Goth in Sachal area of Karachi on which police raided the area and arrested the accused Sarkash Ali alias Sunni Bhatti and recovered illegal weapons and bullets from his possession.
CTD said the accused confessed during interrogation that he along with his other accomplices had hurled grenades at Rangers mobiles at different places in Karachi, injuring Rangers personnel.
Accused used to live in hideout in Malir area after performing criminal activities in the city.
