Policeman martyred during encounter in Larkana
LARKANA (Dunya News) - A policeman was martyred during a police encounter in Larkana district of Sindh.
According to SSP Masood Bangash, a police encounter took place in Baqrani area of Larkana near Syed Bachal Shah Dargah. The accused were fleeing after robbery in Baqrani.
He said that Rafiq Brohi, a policeman who stopped the accused, was fired upon. He was martyred on the spot. The martyred officer was posted at Baqrani police station.
The accused have fled and the area has been cordoned off for their arrest.
Masood Bangash said that the martyred officer foiled the robbery attempt. The accused will be arrested soon.
