Peshawar police arrest six-member robbers gang
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Peshawar police have traced the biggest robbery of the year and arrested a six-member gang including a facilitator involved in a robbery of Rs30 million.
According to SSP Operations Mansoor Aman, the arrested accused snatched Rs30 million from a currency dealer in Din Bihar Colony area of Faqirabad police station last month and fled.
During the operation, the accused were arrested and Rs5 million, arms and motorcycle were recovered. The accused confessed to robbery in the preliminary investigation.
According to police, three of the arrested accused were from Bajaur while the others were from Swat, Charsadda and Peshawar.
