Marwa murder case: Accused handed over to police on five-day physical remand
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police on Wednesday had claimed to have apprehended the alleged perpetrator behind the rape and murder of five-year-old Marwah in Essa Nagri neighbourhood.
The accused Nawaz was presented in the city court of Judicial Magistrate East on the charge of raping and murdering a five-year-old girl Marwa in Isa Nagri area of Karachi.
The police sought physical remand of the accused for CRO and interrogation. The court remanded the accused to police for five days.
On the other hand, the police have decided to include terrorism provisions in the case.
According to police officials, the decision to include terrorism provisions in the case was taken after consultation with senior officials.
