Ferozwala: SHO reluctant to take action against police officer accused of firing on a girl
FEROZWALA (Dunya News) - Station House Officer (SHO) police station Ferozwala was trying to save his colleague on the issue of firing on the girl who made the video of the police officer.
According to the details, a fight broke out between the children playing in the street over a trivial matter in the area of Imamia Colony of Ferozwala police station.
Fauzia Bibi s child had a quarrel with police officer Agha Aqeel s child, on which the influential police officer called dozens of people and started shouting outside Fauzia Bibi s house.
When Fauzia s daughter started making mobile videos from the roof, police officer Agha Aqeel fired directly at the girl, who miraculously survived.
When the video was handed over to SHO Amir Mehboob, he acted reluctantly instead of taking action first, but after the video went viral on social media, the SHO rushed to register a case.
The case was registered but it did not mention the name of police officer Agha Aqeel and also did not mention the dozens of youths seen in the video.
He registered a case against a young man named Ghazanfar but in order to provide relief to the accused, he did not make any provision for attempted murder so that the accused could be granted bail in the morning. Therefore, a case of aerial firing was registered.
Police officer Agha Aqeel s has threatened with dire consequences to the women, while SHO Ferozewala Amir Mehboob refused to act on the applicant’s request.
