LAHORE (Dunya News) - Deputy Director Wasa Shahid Hafeez was allegedly killed by his wife, a case has been registered against victim’s wife on the complaint of the victim s brother.
According to the details, the tragic outcome of the domestic dispute came to light when Deputy Director Revenue Wasa Shahid Hafeez was allegedly killed by his wife at his Johar Town residence.
A case has been registered against Shahid Hafeez s wife Shehla and an unknown person on the complaint of the victim s brother Muhammad Khalid.
According to the FIR, Shahid Hafeez and his wife Shehla often had quarrels, which is why Shahid remarried.
According to the Shahid’s brothers, Shahid called him and told him that he was seriously injured as his wife along with her accomplice allegedly tried to kill Shahid Hafeez.
Neighbor of the slain Shahid Hafeez said that it was found out at 6 in the morning that Shahid Hafeez was killed, the sound of gunfire was not heard. According to the neighbor people were saying that there was a quarrel between the couple.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Sadar Syed Ghazanfar Abbas Shah has inspected the scene. Talking to media, he said that the bullet was fired from the personal pistol of Shahid Hafeez.
Forensic teams have gathered evidence from the scene. The wife of the victim named in the FIR is undergoing treatment at the hospital.
According to the preliminary investigation, the murder was a case of domestic violence. However, further investigations are underway
