GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) - A mother of four children was shot dead in the name of honor in Abbas Colony area of Jinnah Road police station. Police have arrested the accused and registered a case.
According to details, the incident took place in Abbas Colony where a young man named Danish shot dead a mother of four children who was his aunty in relation.
According to police, the victim Amna was a mother of four children and was not happy with her husband. She wanted a divorce from her husband and wanted to marry a man named Ahmed Hussain, a resident of Rahwali. Due to which, for the last one month, she had come to her mother’s house and insisted on remarriage.
Amna s family begged her to go to her husband s house but she refused, which led to her being shot in the head by her nephew Danish in the name of honor.
Police said that the accused has been arrested and investigation has been started.
