CM Punjab takes notice of Rawalpindi torture incident
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken notice of the incident in which a man brutally tortured his mother in Sadiqabad area of Rawalpindi.
CM Buzdar has sought a report from the RPO and directed to arrest the accused along with the provision of justice to the victim. Meanwhile, police have registered a case of the incident.
The accused, Arsalan Meer, along with his wife not only tortured the old mother but also used foul language. The mother’s plight for justice fell on deaf ears as police failed to take action until social media raised the issue.
Now, further action will be taken once the report is presented to CM Usman Buzdar. The accused is currently on pre-arrest bail till August 6.
