Ehsas program aid recipient killed by robbers in Bhalwal
SARGODHA (Dunya News) - A woman going home after receiving money from Ehsas cash program was robbed and stabbed to death by unknown assailants in Bhalwal on Friday.
According to details, the woman named Hamidan Bibi was returning home on a motorbike with her son when armed men surrounded them near Chak No. 4 South and demanded the money.
On Hamidan Bibi’s refusal, the robbers stabbed her to death and fled with the looted money.
As soon as the incident was reported, ASP Maham Khan reached the crime scene along with police personnel. The body was shifted to hospital for autopsy. Till now, no arrests have been made.
