Customs foils bid to smuggle charas from Afghanistan
One ton of charas worth over Rs 20 crore has been seized from a truck near Chaman border.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Customs has foiled a bid to smuggle charas from Afghanistan near Chaman border, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.
Quetta Collector Customs Irfan Javaid told that one ton of charas worth over Rs 20 crore has been seized from a truck near the border whereas the suspects managed to escape.
A case has been lodged against the fugitives under customs and drugs act. Further investigations into the matter are ongoing.
