Husband, wife booked for torturing 6 year old maid in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Violence against another minor housemaid has been revealed in Islamabad. Local Police has taken immediate action against the accused husband and wife and arrested the husband while his wife managed to escape.
According to details, 6-year-old Mehak was being tortured for her petty mistakes, Lohi Bhair police in Islamabad registered a case against the accused and booked both husband and wife under the provision of torture on the complaint of government. Mehak, 6, also gave a written statement to police.
According to the preliminary investigation, signs of torture have also been found on the child’s body. Police are conducting raids to arrest the wife while Azhar Abid is already in police custody.
