Child rape: LHC seeks reply from govts over delay in legislation
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday has sought reply from federal and provincial governments in two weeks over delay in the legislation regarding child rape cases.
During the hearing headed by Justice Shahid Waheed, the claimant has requested the court to ensure measures for the prevention of child rape incidents.
The plaintiff has also asked the court to direct National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to timely provide the data of the suspects.
