ANF seizes drugs worth Rs24 crore during countrywide actions

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) has recovered drugs worth Rs 24 crore, 30 lakh while taking action in 24 different incidents throughout the country.

According to ANF spokesperson, the anti-narcotics force carried out 24 actions all over the country and recovered around 2,730 kilograms of drugs. The ANF spokesman further said that 24 culprits including 5 women were arrested in connection with drug smuggling incidents.

Five vehicles used for smuggling were also taken in custody by ANF. According to the spokesperson, 1634.136 kgs of hashish, 13.285 kgs of heroine, 826 kgs morphine, 254 kgs opium and 3.190 kgs of methamphetamine were recovered from drug smugglers.
