Special team formed to investigate killing of Interpol-wanted criminal in police custody
Team will submit report to CPO in four days
GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – A special investigation team has been formed to investigate killing of Interpol-wanted accused Luqman in police custody. Luqman was handed over by Indonesian authorities to Pakistan a day before.
According to police officials, investigation team will collect evidence from crime scene and compare statements of involved policemen with it.
Police team will also record statements of arrested suspect Ejaz and people living in surroundings of the crime scene. Report will be submitted to CPO in four days.
According to police, action against involved personnel will be taken in light of report submitted by the team.
