Five CSP officers committed suicide since 2011

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Five officers who committed suicide include SSP Shehzad, Nabiha from Accounts group, DPO Jahanzaib, Deputy Commissioner Sohail and SSP Abrar Hussain.

On Monday Principal of Police Training School Rawat SSP Abrar Hussain Nekokara committed suicide due to domestic issues.

Earlier SSP Shehzad committed suicide in 2011, Nabiha from Accounts group in 2014, DPO Jaffarabad Jahanzaib Kakar in 2016 and dead body of Deputy Commissioner Sohail was found from DC office in 2018.Reasons behind these suicides are not revealed.

DPO of Jaffarabad Jahanzaib Kakkar allegedly committed suicide in his office. DCO Gujranwala Sohail Tipu was mysteriously found dead at his official residence. DPO Nankana Sahib was also found dead in his room.

Police investigation declared death of CSP officer of Audit and Accounts Nabhiha as a suicide. She was living in a hostel and was burnt to death.

Relatives of Nabiha claimed that she was murdered and on her mother’s insistence case of her murder was registered against unknown suspects. However, after conducting investigations police declared her death a result of suicide.
