10,896 Pakistanis are present in jails of 28 countries: report
LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least 10,896 Pakistanis are facing jail terms in 28 countries on different charges, a report obtained by Dunya News revealed.
According to the data, 6,211 Pakistani inmates have been declared convicts due to lack of proper legal assistance and non-availability of counsels.
On the other hand, 2061 Pakistanis are imprisoned over the charges related to minor criminal activities.
