Suspects gun down elderly widow over land dispute in Phalia
PHALIA (Dunya News) – Influential people on Tuesday have gunned down elderly widow over land dispute in Phalia’s village Chak Jano Kalan.
According to details, the incident took place when Rasheeda bibi, widow of Ghulam Ali, came out of her house to buy some food. The armed suspects opened fire at her and fled the scene.
The victim was immediately taken to THQ Hospital in critical condition where she succumbed to the injuries.
Meanwhile, the eye-witnesses said that the woman was killed for not dropping land case against the influential people.
Moreover, the security personnel have registered a case and launched an investigation into the matter to arrest the culprits.
