Accused sent on six-day remand in Parveen Sikander murder case
Police sources said the accused murderer is a former employee of Parveen Sikander.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Arrested suspect Mustafa today (Sept. 18) has been presented before the court in Former MPA Parveen Sikander murder case.
According to Dunya News, the court ordered to hand over the accused to police on a six-day remand.
Police informed that the accused has confessed to his crime during the interrogation, and further investigation is yet to be done.
On Sept. 17, Former MPA Parveen Sikander murder case took a new turn as the killer was finally arrested by police.
Police sources said the accused murderer is a former employee of Parveen Sikander. They added that the suspect Mustafa killed her in greed of money.
SSP investigation Zeeshan Asghar said suspect was fired from job a few months ago and former MPA was informed about his involvement in house robbery.
Police said the suspect had an idea where the money was and he was arrested because of the mobile phone he picked from house after the murder.
It is worth noting that the body of former PML-Q MPA Parveen Sikandar Gill was found at her home in Lahore.
The Naseerabad SHO said that her hands and feet were tied up and that the police believe she was murdered. She lived on the top floor of her brother’s house.
They suspect that her murder was the result of an old enmity or an assets case she had been fighting. An investigation was started and teams were formed after a post-mortem examination was conducted.
The former MPA had also served as the secretary general of the Pakistan Hockey Federation’s Women Wing.
