LAHORE (Dunya News) – A secret torture cell of Punjab police has been revealed. The arrested suspects opened about the mistreatment of Punjab police in front of media.
As per details, a private torture cell of Gojjar Pura police has been revealed. The torture cell was established in a forest near Karol village.
A footage of torture cell available with Dunya News and under arrest persons accused of harsh torture by police in this torture cell. Total of 9 suspects are being kept in torture cell and condition of one became critical due to torture.
After the news was aired at Dunya News, IG Punjab took notice of the incident and sought report from CCPO Lahore. SP civil lines Dost Muhammad has been appointed inquiry officer and has been tasked to take strict departmental action against those who surpassed their authority.
