LAHORE (Dunya News) – Police arrested a woman from Qila Gujar Singh on Thursday for allegedly setting her two children on fire over black magic ritual.
The alleged perpetrator was named as Anita who burnt her two children over a black magic spell.
According to the police, the woman was arrested from the scene of the crime from where a rope, candle, cotton ball and a goat was taken into custody all of which are used for carrying out black magic rituals.
The woman in her statement to the police categorically denied the allegations of any wrong doing on her part stating that she was being wrongly accused of the crime.
‘Can a mother torture her own children,’ she stated.
Investigation is underway by the police to conclude what had really transpired.
