ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A Canadian woman who was allegedly harassed in the capital city Islamabad called for help on the police helpline but the law enforcers didn t arrive on time.

As per the details garnered, a Canadian woman faced a difficult situation in Islamabad when few scoundrels harassed and followed her around the city.

The victim stated that those varlets inquired her driver about her house address.

‘When I called on the police helpline 15, I was told to ring up the nearby police station and lodge a complaint against the accused.’

The lady then complained on the PM Citizen Portal.

According to Islamabad police, they have sent the complaint to the related superintendent of police.

It is pertinent to mention here, that the Canadian woman is settled in Pakistan since 2018 after getting married to a Pakistani citizen.
