Pakistan Navy seizes around 1000kg hashish near Ormara.

ORMARA (Dunya News) – Pakistan Navy seized around 1000kg of hashish near Ormara in the open sea after an intelligence-based operation, Dunya News reported on Thursday.

The details suggest that the contraband’s worth is over 2.5 billion rupees.

Pakistan Navy spokesperson told that the complex operation was done in collaboration with the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and was completely monitored by the navy.

“The operation displays Pakistan Navy’s agility in the waters. The force holds full potential to ensure rule of law in the Indian Ocean,” the spokesperson added.

The confiscated hashish has been handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force for further proceedings.
