Gang involved in target killings busted in Karachi
Pir Gee was apprehended by police who confessed to more than 20 target killings.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Anti-violent crime cell (AVCC) busted a six-member gang in Karachi involved in target killing activities in the metropolis.
AVCC SHO Fida Husain Leghari told media that one of the member Pir Gee was apprehended by police who confessed to more than 20 target killings including the murder of Maulana Amjad Din Puri over a ransom worth Rs10 lac and two traffic constables in Soldier Bazaar.
Weapons recovered from the suspect
The gang is also involved in more than 50 street crimes. Raids are underway to arrest the rest of the suspects.
On the other hand, MQM-London’s target killer was also detained from Mubeena Town along with his accomplice.
