Police trace eloping Dua, Waqas of PIB Colony in Surjani Town
Police report has revealed that it was not the a kidnapping case as Dua had willfully left home.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police and Rangers in a joint operation have traced the girl with her paramour Qaiser, who had gone missing the previous day, in Taiser Town Surjani Road on Wednesday.
As per inquiry details the duo were lodged in a house they rented a day before in the locality with an intention to live together for good.
Police report has revealed that it was not the a kidnapping case as Dua had willfully left home and ran with Waqas in a bid to marry with him
On being questioned Dua told police that she had informed her family that she wanted to marry with Waqas but they did not agree. While Waqas said that Dua urged him to elope with her as her family were not ready to marry her off to him.
Further investigation is underway. Police say Dua will record her confessional statement in the court
Meanwhile, impressed with police performance in the instant case PTI MPA Sindh Assembly Jamal Siddiqui has announced Rs10,000 prize for the police party for solving the case.
