3 persons killed in brutal firing at Bhoun by-pass laid to rest

The victims were hit on the head by the accused however, one was hit on the neck.

CHAKWAL (Online) – At least three persons that were killed in brutal firing at Bhoun by-pass were laid to rest and the FIR was also lodged against six accused in the Sadar Police Station Chakwal.

The injured Ghulam Mahdi son of Nawab Khan told the Police that he along with Azmat Ali and his brother Shoukat Ali sons of Nawazish Ali Khan and Ghulam Mahdi son of Nasir Ali Khan resident of Bhoun were coming from District Courts Chakwal and when they reached on Bhoun by-pass.

The two accused Aziz Yousuf and Abuzar Atta Muhammad appeared on a motorcycle JGK 5464 and in the meantime two other motorcycles reached and four other accused Ayub Din Muhammad, Rab Nawaz Sakhi, Zohaib Tariq and Khalil Ahmed armed with pistol and rifles opened indiscriminate firing on them resulting the killing of the persons on the spot and they were hit on the head by the accused but luckily the complainant Ghulam Mahdi (Village Maira) was hit on the neck.

The killer after leaving the motorcycle on the spot as it is learnt that motorcycles had a fault and the accused fled away on the other two motorcycles.

DPO Adil Memon has constituted different police parties to arrest the accused. After the triple murder whole area was gripped in fear, panic and harassment.

It is learnt that there was an old enmity between these two rival groups had started some 40 years ago and four persons of the present accused group were shot dead near village Ratta Sharif when these victims were going to appear before the District Court Chakwal.
