Kidnappers kill student despite paying Rs1 mn ransom
During investigation, police came to know that abductors had killed and dumped the boy.
SARGODHA (Dunya News) - A first year student was abducted and allegedly murdered by kidnappers who had demanded a ransom of Rs3 million from victim Usman’s family.
The father of the victim had paid Rs1 million but he contacted police when he got no information about his son.
Police arrested all five kidnappers after exchange of fire in Model Town where suspects were coming to receive remaining Rs2 million.
During investigation, the suspects revealed that they have killed the boy and dumped his body. Later, the victim’s body was recovered by police.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
