Lahore: Police solve mystery of Wajahat murder, killer identified as friend
The killer has been identified as Hanan, a close friend of the deceased.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore Police on Wednesday solved the mystery shrouding the gruesome murder of 25-year-old Wajahat in Shera Kot police precincts.
According to details, the killer has been identified as Hanan, a close friend of the deceased.
Police stated Hanan called Wajahat at his flat on fourth day of the Eid and made latter drink intoxicated liquid. As Wajahat lost conscious, Hanan killed him with sharp device.
Police further stated culprit changed his countenance to deceive the investigative agency. The bike of Wajahat was also recovered from culprit’s room.
Police are investigating the crime from multiple angles.
A police team rushed to the place soon after a passerby spotted the suspected suitcase lying abandoned near the bus stand and altered the police.
As the police opened the red-colour suitcase, they discovered the blood-soaked body of a young man stuffed in the bag.
