Four-year-old girl strangled to death after rape in Mardan
Bilawal Bhutto demanded the authorities to provide justice to the bereaved family.
MARDAN (Dunya News) – Police personnel on Wednesday arrested as many as 20 suspects involved in strangling a four-year-old girl to death after rape in Mardan.
According to details, the girl’s body was found three days ago after which her medical test was conducted that confirmed rape. However, her blood sample has also been sent to forensic laboratory in Lahore for further verification.
Mardan DPO said that a Joint Investigation Team (JIT), under his supervision, has been formed to probe the case. He said few people have been taken into custody while geo-fencing of the area is also underway.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari strongly condemned the mishap and declared it as horrible crime. He demanded the authorities to provide justice to the bereaved family.
