DERA ISMAIL KHAN (Dunya News) – Bandits in the vicinity of Chodwan Police Station, stripped naked a teenage girl from an enemy tribe and forced her to walk nude throughout the village.
The terrified and utterly embarrassed girl knocked on many doors to ask for clothes and shelter but villagers, out of the fear of bandits, did not grant her shelter nor gave her any clothes to cover herself.
According to the witnesses, this shameful incident continued for one hour. The girl’s family went to the police station to file a complaint but police did not pay any heed.
The FIR was filed against 5 culprits only after the incident came to light through media coverage, although no offenders have been arrested so far.
