ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Customs intelligence seized 13 and a half kilogram of heroin from a car on M1 motorway route near Rashakai, reported Dunya News. The banned drug was found in the secret pockets of a car coming from Peshawar to Lahore.

Customs Intelligence team had established a checking point near Rashakai. When the custom officers asked a car to stop, the driver instead tried to run away from the scene. When the customs officials followed the car, the driver left his car and ran away.

Later customs officials found high quality heroin from the base of the car which was later weighed as 13 and a half kg. Heroin is a banned drug in Pakistan and custom officials are usually in search of the culprits who transport this dangerous drug.
