Woman among three murdered over old enmity
The suspects managed to escape after killing three people.
GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – Three people including a woman were gunned down over old enmity at Gujranwala’s Kashmir Road area of Peoples Colony Police Station.
The police have sent the dead bodies to civil hospital after taking them in custody and have started investigation into the matter.
The murdered people which include 75 year old Nazeer Ahmad, his 45 year old daughter Abida Parveen and 30 year old Fazad, were going to court on a motorcycle for their hearing. As soon as they left their house, their enemies opened firing and killed them.
The suspects managed to escape afterwards.
In the initial investigations, police have found out that the murdered people belonged to an adjacent area Warpal Chatha, and had moved to Kashmir Road only two months before this incident.
Central Police Office (CPO) Gujranwala Waqas Nazir has told that other people had also been killed before due to this old enmity.
Further investigation is being carried out while teams have been formed to arrest the culprits.
