PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Two people were shot dead in Momin Town area of Peshawar on Monday when unidentified men opened fire on them.
According to details, armed men riding motorcycle gunned down a man and a woman.
Police reached the scene on getting information from the residents and cordoned off the area. However, the assailants escaped immediately after committing the crime.
According to initial police report, both the deceased were relatives and belong to Kurram agency. They have been identified by the name of Abdullah and Aalma.
Both had came to Peshawar a month before.
Police state that the woman was in confrontation with his father-in-law over custody of children and was on her way to court with Abdullah when they were killed by unknown assailants.
