KARACHI (Dunya News) – Three alleged suspects were taken into custody during a search operation by the intelligence department in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of Karachi. The search operation was conducted in 13-D residential building of Gulshan-e-IQbal on information of criminals in the building.
On the other hand, bomb disposal squad was called in after a highly suspicious box was discovered in Baldia Itehad Town. Officials defused 16 high power battery cells placed in the box which may have been prepared for an explosion.
According to the Bomb Disposal Squad, the battery cells could have easily been used for an explosion by combing with an IED.
