KARACHI (Dunya News) – A local court in Karachi remanded the murder suspect of 11-month-old girl to police custody for three days today (Monday).
The suspect Amir was presented before the judicial magistrate west court. Investigating officer told the court that the suspect is accused of torturing her daughter Mahnoor to death.
He requested the court to grant his remand as the suspect is to be interrogated in the case.

The suspect on the other hand while retracting from his earlier confession said that he did not murdered his daughter.
He said that he had a fight with his wife on the day when the murder happened whereas his daughter was fine when he left the house.
The suspect was arrested by Sarjani police two days before and registered a case against him after recording the statement of the suspect’s wife.

Amir confessed yesterday during interrogation that he murdered her daughter after the initial medical report revealed that cause of Mahnoor’s death was the injuries on her head and stomach.
