DERA ISMAIL KHAN (Dunya News) – Police on Friday have arrested at least seven persons in crackdown launched against illegal petrol pumps and locals agencies by Assistant Commissioner (AC) Suleman Lodhi.
The Assistant Commissioner led a contingent of police in raids on different illegal petroleum agencies in the city and apprehended as many as seven culprits.
It should be mentioned here that sale of petrol by local shops in residential areas is illegal. However, violators in DI Khan were not being subjected to any penalty. AC Lodhi said that he is acting as per orders of the provincial government.
